Hi everyone,
Me and my are expecting our first child and we are planning to invite my parents. Is it a good to mention pregnency in the invitation letter? The oneline forums discussion are all over. Some say it's absolutely a bad idea and some say it does not hurt. If you have any experience on this and want to share your advice, we would be greatul. Thanks in advance.
Dude if your doctor mentioned pregnancy on letter they will give 101% visa. So do it. Its best idea.
I asked my doctor to give a letter about pregnancy complication and the embassy even expedited the interview.
Thank you instagram, mancini, and public for your insights. What I have read on online forums is that inviting tour parents during your child birth implies that you are inviting them to look after your child which further implies one less job for an american and therefore the US embassy is reluctant to give visa. I dont know how true is that.

You are correct in one sense that if, during the interview, ur parents say they are going to US to look after the grandkid, then likelyhood of getting a visa is nil.
The reason should be like they wanna be with you n your wife at the time of birth for emotional support that you guys can't travel back to nepal for delivery so they want to travel to US to see you twoo and the grandkid......kinda like that.
