Getting legally married in India ... info needed
I was looking into Indian marriage registration law and found out that they require 30 days of residency before we can apply to register for marriage and issue the certificate in another 30 days or so.
I am planning to visit India for wedding but due to my work obligation I won't have enough time to go through the process. I know everything is possible in India and was wondering if anyone on here has any info to expedite the process such that it can be legally registered within a week or so. Please let me know if any one has any info or was successfully able to register marriage in India.
We both are Nepalese citizen and due to some restriction we need to perform wedding in India.
Any information will be highly appreciated. Tried to look up online but couldn't find much info. I know there must be someone out on Sajha who can shed some lights on.
