कुनै जमाना थियो जति बेला नेपाली मुक्तक मात्र नभएर संस्कृतका श्लोक हानेर flirting (त्यो पनि पुरा gang मिलेर) | थियो कोहि हामी जस्तै पागल?

But more immediately, मेरो gang को पुरानो मित्रले त्यो पुरानो श्लोक भन न भनेर request गर्दैछ तर मलाई याद छैन | कोहि छ साझा मा भने यसो share गरम न |

नेपाली मा लगभग यस्तो अनुवाद छ, "बास बस्नु छ भने यी दुइ ठाउँ मा मात्रै बस्नु, कि त गंगा को किनारमा जहाँ जीवन पुण्यले भरण हुन्छ, कि त स्त्रीका दुइ स्तनका बीचमा जहाँ मान्छेको मनै हरण हुन्छ "

मेघदूत को हो कि शायद, but not sure.

Yes it does, I tried to translate as for fun & my depth of Sanskrit may be 200 words. The word heart made it elegant , I wish I had used it instead of Bakshamam.

@altijdgoede.....I translated using my limited Sanskrit knowledge. It conveys the same meaning of your original sentence though you might be looking exactly the same words you used before. You can play around with words in Sanskrit. For example, I used the word "धारणमध्ये" to express "in between two breast". It doesn't sound vulgar and conveys the meaning. But if you want to sound more erotic, you can always use different words.

I see. But the thing is my Nepali translation may not be 100% accurate, not word for word certainly not the order of words. (I used that shlok last time some 15 years ago). So the verse from the original literature is somewhat different, I just don't remember what it is. Thanks for the try though.

Sanskrit can be complicated. See the verse below from Shiva Tandav Strotam. I have hard time pronouncing these words! Give it a try !!

जटाटवीगलज्जलप्रवाहपावितस्थले
गलेऽवलम्ब्य लम्बितां भुजङ्गतुङ्गमालिकाम् |

shiva tandava and saraswati stotra was taught my grandpa and i know it by heart till now.but as a child u learn it pretty fast
