Try Geico if you live in California, and Statefarm if you are age 28 or older

"no other insurance can beat Geico price"...WRONG STATEMENT

I was in Geico for last 3 years and they keep on increasing my premium in every six months stating some nonsense reasons. Now I am paying a lot less through AAA. I suggest everyone to try AAA (not sure if I was the only lucky one)

Progressive has been cheaper for me in Minnesota though, I tried Geico, state farm and allstate. The price of all those came little expensive for me now, I have progressive since out of all three Progressive gave me a good deal. I think the cost depends on state, and where the vehicle is residing and all those factors.
I took statefarm for few months and it was good enough, Geico and statefarm both are better.

If you don't drive much, just work to home that you live nearby and occasionally long trip, all you need is metromile, with complete coverage, roadside assistance all states covered, flat base price starts with approx $46 /month. It comes with OBD II device that you plug it into your car. I've found that this device will let you also monitor your car's health, whereabouts. Many metromile consumers have recovered their stolen vehicle because of metromile OBD II device called 'metronome'. You hook it up, pop up android/apple app and monitor your cars GPS and overall health. There is no other insurance company yet in existence in the world as metromile. And, am pretty much sure that other auto insurance company is about to follow the suit. If you've any question about it, lemme know. It's extremely cost-effective for low-mileage drivers like me.

I've been with AAA for 7 years and they suck.

It is available in Chicago and San Fransisco for this moment.
It will monitor your car life and health as well your driving pulse each time you turn your car.
To know your car health , you can buy wireless OBDII for 5 box. For all car owner older than 7-8 years may benefit with it. I have one manual OBDIi and I cleaned the code and drive 2-3 hundred miles and able to get the sticker.

hari nepali,  somewhere at last lines, it's for "LOW-MILEAGE" driver who had to pay like 80-110 bucks a month for full coverage before. I drive average 400 miles a month, so for me it's a win. No wonder this is for metro dwellers. I don't have to pay more than 50 bucks a month. :)

I pay $175 for 2 cars full coverage with rental and uninsured coverage with $500 deductible. its with progressive. I get multi policy discount as well. See if you can combine your house/ rental insurance that might save you some money as well. They determine the rates based on zipcode/ parking (Apartment parking vs garage parking)/ daily mileage and so on. If your city has high bodily injuries claims, at no fault claims then it affects everyone's premium.

It reminded me this story.
One family got about 7500 dollars tax refund and everyone was running to do tax with that dude. I told my cousin that you will not be getting about that much. It would have done free or I would have paid (14.99 tax act) from my own pocket.
I am sure that family may have 3-4 children and just enough income to hit the high Earn Income Credit and some amount of fed withheld. They do not know the reason and if someone tries to explain it will not get into their brain because their mind will be preoccupied on getting similar fat refund.

It has something to do with the State and the town you are residing, your age and driving experience, your credit score and driving records. If you live in Bronx NY and Jackson Height NY or Living in Newton and Dorchester MA , will not be paying the same premium.

So far I found Geico has lesser quote than any other auto insurances.

I looked for many insurance company for my new car. I found out AAA is the best among all. They are lot cheaper than any other in the market. I had an accident my claim was done in just one call. They did not even ask many questions. They will ask you to get a membership card for around $30 per year but its a lot worth it. Free emergency assistance and discounts on many categories like motels, outdoor activities and especially on movie. If you go to movie theatre frequently then you will save around $5 per ticket. Buy ticket from AAA office for $5 less. I have saved lot of money on many items and especially on movies

@Glife, I am in the same boat. For me too, AAA is the cheapest but as magorkhe1 stated, it might well depend on state and the town you are residing, your age and driving experience, your credit score and driving records.
