Is your case genuine? If not, how did you file for asylum?

Yes it is genuine. I applied by myself. Now i have a lawyer but don't want to go through it. Can I apply without having a lawyer?

You can but it is recommended to pursue a lawyer to represent you. Everyone's case is different and I'm only responding because to yours because it is genuine.

Cp21 som rash ra Bhutun khadai dashai manaudai Ho ki Kay ho ? Nepal ko asylum case genuine ? Nothing against anybody, in fact ma ta sabai lai aslylum hala bhanchu, 99% cases are made up. Aba asli maobadi pidit yaha kaaha baat auna sakcha, Bhagwan le paKheta ta Diya chaina. Nepal ko haalat yesto cha ta, sabai jana ke Garos ta bichara. Ani sabai sanga employment baat GC nikalne baato pani ta hundaina. Jati Badi nepali le GC nikalyo, ramro kam garna paryo, teti Nepal ko lagi ramro ho. Natra dhoti baheek aru kam pauna gahrai huncha.
@pshres1, yes apply for TPS. You can do it yourself, and ask for help here at sajha if you have confusion abt some form questions. Otherwise spend $700 lawyer fee. You will feel it like $7 down the road. Yehi sajha ko forum ma Hera.tps aafaile apply garera ahile samma case pending ma bhayera tension liye raheka haru. So spend 700 and apply through the same lawyer. If you do it yourself, make sure you inform your lawyer, he will know it sooner or later by himself. So it's better to inform him in advance. He might advice you against it ( tapaiko asylum case baat uslai paisa auncha ni), but tell him you are applying for TPS no matter what. It's either through him or any other way.
All the best.

Guys I have few more to discuss. One of my friend doesn't have legal status in U.S. So he is trying to apply for TPS as well but does he need a lawyer or not?

technically not. but i will suggest him to hire one. it will only be around 700 lawyers fee. it will save him from a lot of hassle/tension later on.

when you fill up the form, there are many things you don't know the exact answer, or which could have many answers on that matter. download the form and try to fill it up, u will get an idea. i have seen many people who applied through a lawyer and get approved without hassle. in the mean time, i have seen many people here in sajha forum worrying about the pending case. i bet they would have happily spend 700 if they can go in time machine. then again it depends in everybody's situation. for me, i would rather carry an old iphone 5s instead of iphone 6s and spend that money on lawyer than having to worry and lose sleep for 3-4 weeks. and if your case get approved one month earlier, you might recover that cost when you get better job with TPS than your current job. when your case is pending for so long, people start doubting about the answers they filled in the form. so its just a matter of convenience and peace of mind. and TPS is a huge opportunity. i would rather be told i wasted some money than i didn't spend enough.
