Nepali people are funny as hell. Indian nominal gdp is 2304 billion and Nepali nominal gdp 60 billion which is just 2.6%. If India completely blocks every thing, Nepal will bankrupt in few months. Further, most likely 40% (may be more) people in nepal happily will accept India as their country.
By not looking indian movies and television serials, you cannot dent any thing on india or its economy. First be realistic in thinking then start from there. Pakistani cricket board about to bankrupt because india didnot play with them. Fortunately nepal does not have influencial cricket team other wise you guys would try bankrupt india not playing cricket with india.
There is no way Nepal can damage india with out damaging itself far more severely. Most likely nepali will do it. False and unrealistic ego is always self destructive which we nepali are very proud to have and show to the world (do any body in the world really care?).
What nepal can do is use Pakistani guys to infiltrate muslims terrorists and also indian fake money, but certainly it will not help nepal and i dont think china second economic superpower will like it as well.
Whole this mess is created by nepali leaders (maoist mostly). In Nepal common people never asked separate state. Nepal really did not need any kind of states. Nepal, a small beautiful country only needed development which no leader or people in nepal seems to care. Most likely you guys were very proud Prachande when he said "we are not yes man of India". Nepal runs with Arab labor money not on Indian grants? We are purchasers of Indian goods not the sellers. If India does not want to sell then we will buy from China and others. Yes it will be 5% - 10% more with food and energy which we can easily sustain but consuming 10% less. Clothing and Machinery is cheaper in China.

First every thing will be very expensive in Nepal not just 5-10 %. China (main land) is too far from Nepal i dont think there can be sustainable supply from china. Indian can make tarai agitation far more severe if it wants (we are saying if india goes to block everything then it will also do that thing). If Tarai where 50% of people live, go for armed struggle with active indian support, I dont think Nepal can sustain.
Now your saying that after bihar election India will accept Nepali constitution, that is totally different thing. My reply was for the people who are saying Nepal can sustain (nicely) without india or actively ignoring or opposing india.

Please get your fact straight first. We can get everything from China, maybe even cheaper. Things will be difficult in the beginning for everybody. The only thing that is uncertain is the petrol. Can China supply enough for us?
Nepali will go through a difficult time and things will change drastically, no doubt about it. It will take some time to fix the road and the infrastructure to be able to export to Nepal. But to say Nepal will go bankrupt is bit naive. Remember we do business with India. Loosing 27+ million customer in all sector of business (food, entertainment, agriculture, energy etc) all of a sudden is not a joke for any country. More opportunity for China to cash in. They are far more business minded than the Indians. To serve 27 million new customer, Chinese government will do things beyond your imagination.
Just as much as you think they will wait for us to go dry and die, Indian businesses will not allow that to happen. Customer always wins, not the manufacturer.

China does not have any thing cheaper than india (food items) even in main land china. When that transported from there to Nepal for 5000KM calculate how expensive it will be in Nepal. Only thing china can supply in nepal is other non food items that too will be quite difficult when we use only through tibet. Currently most of chinese stuff is transported to Nepal from Colkata (sea route) (I am guessing here as Guanzhou (manufacturing hub in china is in south east of china (it is more south than Nepal)).

There are real Nepalese in Madhes too. Those Nepalis are have older history than Chetri Bahuns in that land. I think they call themselves Dharti Putras. These are real Nepalis. They having been living there before Chetri Bahuns and Newars moved from India. They could even be there way before the Kirats were there. Tharus, Rajbanshis, Dhimal, are few examples. Those real Nepalese who live in Madhes are not happy that their agenda, lifestyle, and their culture has been hijacked by the Biharis. Nepal Govt should have addressed their concerns long ago but this is what we pay for having short sighted ignorants rule our country.
There is a huge difference between Dharti Putras and the imported Biharis....Imported bihars who have taken Nepalese citizenship for one and only reason...that is to occupy Nepal politically for the Benefit of India. Those Biharis are the ones that our fight should be against.
I still hope that this whole India show down is for Bihar elections. Once its over Modi will come in line too, the Bihari leaders in Nepal will be tried for murders in Nepal, their political status will be over. Hopefully after this the real Nepali Madhesis will come forward and lead their people for equal rights and their other demands.
