Xcelresources, IT consultancy
Anybody knows about Xcelresources IT consultant, located in Houston, TX? How coherent is their online training and how much is their job placement? Any feedback about this consultancy is highly appreciated.
bakwaas_kura....In which technology you want to get trained ?
Thank you Kris for your information. Can you please suggest how to take money back, as I have already paid one hundred dollar as a registration fee.I took first class (30 minutes) which was taken by the instructor called Archana. I want to stay away from their mockery. I became a victim of "David", that guy allured me saying they have 100% job placement.
@Kris15: SAP FICO or something along those lines. I've been communicating with a company (called S3S Services (http://s3sonline.com/). All sounds good but they say that I have to make a deposit of $500-700 for the training, which will be refunded once I get a job. I don't know how good the company is...they post on Sajha unser username sara11.
I have no experience with IT companies so any help or suggestion would be great.
Badguy.....I am sorry that you were also trapped by "David" ! Their company can't even provide good training so there is no way that they can provide placement after the training ! David speaks same line with everybody "Since market is good these days, we won't have any problem placing you !!!". Reality is he wants to collect money by luring in for Training and 100% placement ! In fact, they don't do your marketing, they send your resume to some fake sister company (having no employees in U.S) !!! I am sure that if you call him and ask for your money back, he won't give you !! You can try to call your bank and dispute the transaction saying that they didn't provide service as promised !!!
bakwaas_kura: honestly i don't know any consultancy providing SAP Training ! I have some friends working on SAP. I can talk to them and let you know if i find any !
Thank you!
If you know good consultancies providing training in other (more business/finance oriented) areas/technologies, please share!

@RadheShyam, thanks bro for informative reply.
@RadheShyam Bro, Can you recommend any of your above mentioned training for one who is from non IT background. I mean, what would be the best option to start at first. As you said, QA/BA is too general, I am not very interested in taking those training. I am thinking to start cloud computing, as it sounds like it could match my background ( climate, atmospheric science, natural resources) or some other new techniques that have more demand in marketplace and pays good as well. However, coming from non IT field, I am becoming skeptical in making decision/ choosing. I am little frustrated too cause, I have already spend little amount I earned. Bro, your recommendation would be very valuable at this point.
cloud computing has nothing to do with climate and natural resources lmao

RadheShyam ji, would you please check your sajha inbox, i have sent you a message. or would you please send me your email on sidanepali@gmail.com so i can send you my phone #... i need some direction /guidance
thank you
Hi RadheShyam,
you nailed it, one needs to be constantly updated to remain in this competitive IT industry. I see following technology on demand.
1. Hadoop- Data Mining/ Big Data
2. .Net/ Java -- Technical and Programming in nature
3. Data Analyst - Skills required- SQL/PL SQL/ Data Stage/ Cognos Reporting
4. Health Care System Analyst
5. Configuration Analyst- (Benefit Configuration/ Pricing Configuration)-Health Care
Add the demanding technology you know.

@Redheshyamji....This is one of the most inspirational suggestion i have ever come across...What i am doing right now matches to the way you did it....I didn't take any training from consultancy. Instead i found out that it would be better to take training from the training provider whose main job would be give just training (not marketing)..Consultancy sucks...We have to work the way they want !...After taking training with the provider, we can do marketing with any consultancy we want. I am marketing my profile as a SQL Server Developer and since i don't have real time knowledge, it's getting hard to land 1st project. I see that you are trained in Windows and Vmware. I have some background on windows networking. Is there anyway you can show me the way to learn networking and vmware. Any link or provider would be highly appreciated !
