उत्सेक उदधेर्यद्वत्कुशाग्रेणैकबिन्दुना ।
मनसो निग्रहस्त द्वद्भवेद परिखेदत: ।। ४१ ।।

The mind can be brought under control only by an unrelenting effort like that which is required to empty an ocean, drop by drop, with the help of a blade of a grass.

It is very hard. Sometimes I think I am good at controlling my mind, but my heart take over it once in a while.

Uji:
उदधेर्यद्वत्कुशाग्रेणैकबिन्दुना : this is combination of 6 word?
It was a great invention in writing adding multiple words: which saved time in writing as well paper.
My father asked me to read Geeta and in dashai Chandi, when I was in middle school , I quit it because of complex word combination ( complexity)
Next time if you simplify the word will be appreciated.

Mindfulness in the Cultivation of Kindness - When you are relaxed it is easier to be kind to yourself and to others.

A brief teaching by Dr. Anne C. Klein. Dr. Klein (also Lama Rigzin Drolma) is Professor of Religious Studies at Rice University in Houston, Texas and co-founding director and resident teacher at Dawn Mountain.

Since early 1970s, she has extensively studied Vajrayana school of Buddhism and contemplative practices that exist in various sects of Vajrayana school of Buddhism.

Good for you.

Meditation and mindfulness meditation in particular has reputedly shown to be an effective antidote against depression relapse in clinical trials around the world.

Clinical studies have shown that mindfulness is as effective as pharmacological antidotes but without side-effects of pharmacological drugs which in fact is a huge plus factor as many of you know that not all people are able to handle side-effects of pharmacological drugs very well.

Prof. Mark Williams (of Oxford University) and his research collaborators from Canada, the United States, and elsewhere are considered pioneers in mindfulness-based depression relapse prevention therapies in healthcare settings.
