You are trying to invest so much money based upon suggestion given in Sajha...I am not saying suggestions wont be genuine but asking here does not look like a good idea
I am using sajha as an initial medium to gather information.
have found many nepalese having a gas station and other business i am calling for. Their input could be somehow helpful. That's the purpose for this thread.
I definitely understand it's a huge amount of money and I must have a proper business plan.
However, I have to start from somewhere and I chose sajha :)
Thank you cybro.
There is no profit margin on selling gas only. Most profit comes from running convenient store side by side.
To expand on Magorkhe's point.
First of all, if you want a gas station where you can work and be able to pay your bills etc then go for a cheap station that's been running for a while. If you want something with a good potential, then keep location in mind. Look for the stations that are small but are in a good location (like junction of 3 roads, in the middle of a village/town) - also make sure you can expand this station to a full fledge convenient store. These stores might cost good money, not just to buy but to renovate and expand - so you need loan and some partners. But if they are success, you will make good bucks.
Good luck.
I am planning to invest around 300K to 400K and my intention is having a conventional store along with a gas station, something like 7-Eleven
Thank you for the information.
