Folks, I had mailed TPS application packet on 26th June and was received by chicago office on Monday 29th june. I also had included the E-notification form with my application packet. However, to this day i haven't received any sort of acknowledgement from USCIS regrading the application.
Wanted to ask ya'll if anyone of you have received NOA or some acknowledgement from USCIS. Pleas share what your experiences are. Thanks!!
@Ozar, since you are in a process of filing I140 and i485 (which can be filled together), I don't think you need TPS. Once you file 485, you guys should be getting GC within 6 months.
Even-though if you want to file TPS, you can do it on your own and it wont affect anything on your GC processing. Your husband has to add your name when he filled i140 and i485. I hope i made it clear.
***Updated***
I just received another E-notification. It has different receipt number, but the same form number. I think that was for my I-821.

I tried to add my case number to USCIS.org, but it says "You are attempting to add a receipt number that does not exist in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again." I might have to wait for couple of days, I guess.

@latinokiller,
thank you for the letter. but when you say alien number what number you are talking about. Isn't it something that people will have when they apply for gc. all i have is I-94 number.
it is getting way too complicated for me now.
For those who received their receipt number, can you please tell which service center is handling your case? it will give more definitive timeline on the processing times of the service center.
Just for reference if you are not familiar how to locate that
If your receipt number starts with:
WAC- California
LIN - Nebraska
SRC - Texas
EAC - Vermont
Thanks in advance.

You are right, A# is given to those people who have applied for work permit/GC/Any other stuffs. If you have never applied for those paper, you don't have A#. If you are just a student, tourist visa you don't have A#. If you don't have A# then you should use your I-94 number.
"it is getting way too complicated for me now." You are making it complicated. Just calm down, and use your I-94 number.
@silentblogger Looks like all the Nepal TPS is being handled by Nebraska service Center. Mine has LIN - Nebraska even I have applied from California.

@MimroRaMero
I also applied on June 29, but haven't heard anything yet. Do the USCIS send email confirmation as well?
@npli_girl
If you have filled e-notification form (g-1145) then they will send you E-notification.
When did USCIS receive your mail?

Ohh...I did not send that form. USCIS received the docs on July 1st. Hope I will get the notification via mail by the end of this week.
@npli_girl
Looks like USCIS is taking about 4 days to process the document.
So they got your document on July 1st, if they sent you notice on 6th, by next Monday, I guess you will get in your mail.

I-94 front and back copy on same page
last work permit from and back page on same page
passport copy
2 pp pic with name and alien receipt # on back.
Anything else to add on it? I read some birth certificates and other items. I guess those are if you donot have previous EAD cards? what did u guys send with your I-765 application? Plz clarify.
Thanks!

I think you have enough documents to show your identity and your nationality. If you have your birth certificate on English then you should add it too. If you have any other documents that show that you are the national of Nepal. I have also attached police report that I bought when I came to US because it has my photo, but I don't think it is necessary.
Most of the people are saying that passport is enough for the evidence of your identity and nationality evidence, but I would say just send some extra documents. If you send more document USCIS not gonna say anything.
Also send the photocopy of your VISA if you have one, and when you send your passport photocopy, also send the copy of page where you signature is, and your nearest relative's name.
I hope you are filling I-821 as well.
You also need to send the evidence that you have been living in US since June 24th. I have sent some evidence (utility bill, bank statement) that I was living in US before 24th, and other document (bank transaction, cvs Bill, gas station bill) to show that I have been living in US after June 24th.
Don't forget to fill G-1145 if you want to receive E-notification of form acceptance.
Don't forget to check your form twice after you print it out, and let someone check it for you if possible.
Hope this helps.

@MimroRaMero : Can we apply G-1145 form with our TPS from US postal service office too ?Don't we have to go to the USCIS office with locker utility facility ? Please will you make it clear?
@latino killer: for getting TPS with EAD, do we need to sumbit any additional documents like work experience or anything like that, on basis do USCIS determine that we can work? is it our current visa status or it is sufficient that we are from Nepal ? Please let me know
@roshg: Dude, you can just include the E-notification form(G-1145) with your application and send it through any mail carrier in US.
Regarding your second question, No, you don't have to submit your work experiences. However, to obtain EAD from TPS you should be eligible for TPS( thats the only req.) and should have continious residence in US from June 24th. Regarding additional/supporting documents, please refer to one my posts in this thread to see what i had sent.
Hope this helps & Goodluck!!
