what should be Country of Residence in TPS form?
Hey Guys,
What should be the Country of Residence in TPS form? I guess USA.
Chris
Your guess is right, no need to use lifeline.
Please read the instructions that accompany the form to make sure you are filing it our correctly
i am also not sure about country of residence.....some lawyer said nepal, some said usa ....what is the corect one.....Can we have the answer form somebody whose application is already being processed and got the reciept num as well
Thanks in advance
It's a no brainer. Country of residence is primarily your current mailing address.
Thanks Biomed for the quick reply.....
don't want be ass but "nepal" might be the right ans. Why? of course tps filing people would be in usa anyway by definition of tps redundant to fill if usa is the ans. Why still there? because tps is also eligible for people with last designated country residence but have no citizenship. like Tibetan refugee who used to resides in nepal. they would fill out like: country of citizen: china (or tibet whatever) country of resident: nepal, make sense? by having that they would know if country of residence is nepal- a person is eligible otherwise they would have no idea if such person is eligible but again me no lawyer hai

From my simple understanding, country of Residence is currently where you are staying. It it says country of citizenship, its a different story.
I filled US as country to residence while filing TPS, currently Biometric date is already scheduled.
is biometric is compulsory for everybody even somebody has given fingerprints at port of authority while enering to the us?
and if biometric not required ...uscis will give money back?
Biometric is must and you have to pay for it
If your tps is approved and you are renueing it again do u have to give biometric again?
Yes, yes n u need to pay biometrics fee if you are 14 years or older
