Letter to US embassy to invite parents to US
Can anyone with past experience, who invited their parents over to the US to see a newly born please share what documents are needed to show to the US embassy? How do I write a letter to the US embassy, what would be the best way to describe why I want to have my parents over during this special occasion? I don't want to say I need my parents over to take care of the little one, as they might think I am inviting them for babysitting work. Would cultural or religious reason be a better approach, like I need elderly people to bless the child during 'Nwaran' ceremony, or presence of someone elderly during the time of birth would be helpful as they have the knowledge and experience than me, who is having a kid for the first time? What do you guys think? Please share your thoughts and experiences. Would mean a lot for me!
Also what documents do I need to send to Nepal from here, before my parents apply for the visa at the embassy?
Thanks to the folks, who took time to read this and took a moment out of their life to share their experiences.
aajkal dherai H1 and OPT hune le guf hanera bau ama lai yeta bolayera asylum file garira chan. Beaware !!!
To whom its may concern
State your name and where you live, say whos pregnant and breifly say that u want the grandparents to be presnt at that moment to give blessings, etc etc.
Dont stress on this letter too much. Write to the point briefly. This letter is thr least of things to get your parents visa. It all depends on your status here, what your parents are currently doing in nepal and most importantly that idiots mood inside the window.
Also send like some sort of letter from the doctor stating the due date.
Best of luck.
