because i did not know they would suck ... i was helping some dude and i got sucked during dj night and cultural show and fashion show.... they wanted to suck me again next night dj night but i said i was not cumfortable but i learned my lesson,
Anyway the money does not go to someone's pocket. There are always so many people who go to ANA and who keep returning. Don't be so negative. It is independence day so everyone is free to make their choice.
They will suck you up as long as these corporate world sucks you up. I mean to say america is sucking you up bro. aren't you realising that bro?

Every single year, we hear about the hatred towards ANA. I don't understand why. First of all, a very large portion of their overall budget is covered by the annual convention where people willingly and repeatedly pay good sum of money to attend. Very small portion is covered by donations. You pay money, you get to go inside and have fun. If you don't like it, don't go next time. Not sure why the hatred stays there. If you aren't attending it this year, your hatred goes even one notch higher.
Treat them as a business entity, don't pay attention to their slogans and social message. They are an entertainment not-for-profit organization.
we all know the story behind this organization... their board members and the scandals.... all i gotta say is people forget too easily about the issues.
I don't think anybody forgets it, or remembers it for that matter. Thing is most don't care. Why should they? They just want to go meet friends, hangout in the bar or watch show. Why does it have to be all politics and social service? They might have taken money or they might not have, there might be a fight within the organization, do we really care? As long as we get to enjoy; and if that doesn't happen then we have the choice not to go next time.
I have not been to one for a long time. But that does not mean u cannot go and have fun. But make sure u make less noises when drunk. There are lots of guys who are ready to fight after the ANA convention. Also, so called Nepali affiliated with some sorts of politics think this is the ground for them to show themself. But who cares. Just have fun and look at some Nepali girls dressed up good. Actually tired of watching all gores or mexican wearing those dresses :P
Some people all they want to do is bitch about everything. If you don't like the ANA don't go there as simple as that.
