Can there be meaning without GOD?
If there is no GOD, then man and the universe are doomed. Like prisoners condemned to death, we await our unavoidable execution. There is no GOD, and there is no immortality! And what is the consequence of this? It means that life itself is absurd. It means that the life we have is without ultimate significance, value, or purpose.
Can there be meaning without God? Yes.
Just saying yes or no doesn't prove a point.

Has God created evil also?

Sajhamitra you probably do not know that story is a hoax. Religious fanatics use smart people like Einstein and make up stories to prove to less smart people that "look even smart scientists believe in god and you should too."
The less smart people will believe them feeling helpless and out of logic to question something supposedly said by a great man, but semi-smart people will try to verify it before believing in it blindly.

I second rethink's point. There are just too many false stories out there, as Abraham Lincoln once said, "Don't believe everything you read online."
Now, it's actually a good story, though it wasn't Einstein who answered it. Let's analyze this. Let's assume God created goodness but nobody created evil as it doesn't exist. But why did God let absence of goodness prevail? Why, would he tolerate "not good" things happening on this children? If he is God, why can't he distribute goodness to everybody and everywhere? Why the void, which is the source of all human peril?
If you tell me God exists and just shut up, then I will shut up. But don't try to bring up pseudo-logical arguments because religion defies logic as I have previously stated. I am accepting religion as is, no logic needed.

Millions of people are living meaningful lives without God. So, the answer is yes.
religion is a waste of time and money. all of them, ours, islam, Buddhism, Christianity, all believers are brainwashed.

You come to life only when your soul enters your body, then only the term "life" is given. Now, when your soul leaves your body, God still owns your soul. According to your karma, you'll take rebirth again in this earth. For e.g.. If you rape someone your someone will be raped too, if you torture someone then you will be tortured too through law of karma. Life does not end after you die, it just moves on. If your soul deserves liberation, then you'll be liberated, if not you'll be casted back again. Yes, so there is meaning of GOD without life.
If god exists why does he let people rape, why does he let people do bad things, why does he let people kill each other? Why does he not appear in front of aethists, whip them and make them worship. Why does aethists have normal life?
There is duality everywhere my friend, if there is black there is white, if there is good there is bad too my friend, when there is God there is Satan too my friend. Evil things are all work of Satan. Satan is clever, he tricks you to do evil things. In terms of atheists, I don't know what's wrong with them, they just don't believe in faith. Have faith my friend. If God shows up in true form like in Mahabharat, atheists will either go mad or shit his pant right there, If God shows up in avatar form, then atheists will question what is that? It's a choice of duality believe it or not.

Also, if God created everything then he's also responsible for the creation of Satan.
@power ranger, well God created man then if man creates a life from non life which is stem cell then God created it. Even Gandhari didn't give birth to 100 sons, that was advanced science too, just we don't have the facts left yet. How come Nasa pictures show there is a bridge between Sri lanka and India. How come Sri Lanka believes in Rawan and Hindus believe in Ram? the reason is Rawan wasn't a bad man either, he was the smartest man and the pure devotee of Shiva, but Satan touched him, he lusted after other man's wife that was Sita. He committed crime, so God had to intervene. Yes, all the demons were created from God too. That's why God has to intervene when evil goes rampant.
