I used to sell iphones on Ebay and Craigslist. Recently, prices for unlock code has gone up and profit margin has narrowed down. Is there anyone who sells item on ebay or craigslist for profit? I need some idea on what to sell other than iphones....

Thanks in advance,
RM

Thanks for the information Pepsi bro....I make roughly around $1000-1500 bucks per month, but now the profit margin has gone down significantly, so I want to try other items as well. So, how do you buy ipads? what kind of ipad do you prefer buying? How much you pay for them? and How much do you make on each item?

Thanks,
RM

I am also on the same boat man. Was Making 2000+ easily per month but since the unlocking services down nothing at all. Need to work on low margin. That's sucks.

Its really strange that the unlock price went up really high.
Anyone knows the reason?

 @devilwithin,

The AT&T unlock prices went up because AT&T wants to make sure none of the new iphone 5S and 5C gets unlocked, since Congress made it illegal to unlock phones manufactured after Jan 2013. Any bulk unlock request in AT&T database is an immediate flag. So, the vendors now have to survive on limited unlocks. Thousand unlocks a day has been reduced to 100.
Another thing to note, AT&T has the right to relock the iphone 5S and 5C because they were manufactured after Jan 2013, so don't be surprised when your customers ask their money back when their phones get locked back.

Nothing just contact your buyer and tell him I did change my mind.

I did a lot but not for profit just  to get rid off unwanted items.
Just do not want is not enough to return items you bought. if it has scratches more than the seller had described on the item selling, or the quality mentioned not matching.

@Still_Snake:
I always buy apples iphones (mostly AT&T) and sometimes Verizon if I get an awesome deal, from craigslist. I would then unlock it and sell on eBay  and craigslist. I stopped selling on ebay after sometimes because I was paying a lot of money listing the item on ebay, ebay fees and paypal fees. Even then I was making decent amount of money selling on craigslist. There is still profit but not as much as I was making before because the unlock code prices went up.

Is there anybody who sells other items for profit? If so, what kind of items do you guys sell??

@Pepsi: Thanks for the valuable information
Would it be possible to share some more detail information on buying and selling ipad and macbook laptop? I mean what kind of ipad and macbook pro do you prefer buying and selling? How much profit margin do you seek while buying these electronic devices?

Thanks,
RM
