seriously mech! i've heard of its unnecessary luggage fee. But i am planning to travel with one one backpack with some basic needs on it.....
in my condition, the flight fare seems to be cheapest on spirit out of all.

I've not traveled in that airline but I have heard a lot of negative comments on that.

i have travelled may time, if you are a light traveller, its worth it. I generally travel with a bagpak, or small hand carry that can be fit under seat. Yes, they dot proide anything on plane, you can ask for water though if you are thirsty. even in feature plane now a days you onl get a peanut/cookie and coffee/drink, so if you want to buy them hat will be less than 5. So, for me if its cheaper than 10, its worth it. if you have hand carry, add ~30.

but man, if I can get flight, vigin america s best.

I've flown a few times. It's cheap and not the most reliable of all airlines. Definitely worth it if you're looking for flying from one city to another for a relatively cheaper price.

Southwest is economical n best I've found so far. If you are travelling thru spirit, The only thing I've noticed is do not carry big hand carry which don't fit inside the overhead cabin, they charge you extra 30 - 50 dollars inside the airport which we usually do not notice while purchasing tickets.

I always fly spirit and from my experience it's alright. No beverage on flight (whatso ever). Be sure to only take backpack-only one (don't end up paying $100/bag at check-in). You can check in small luggages $35/bag before 24  hrs of the flight (if it is later than that, they charge you $40 or $50 a bag). When you sign up for their newsletter (via email) and be a clubmember ( paying $59 annually) you can get deals starting from $29 (of course for shorter flights like dallas to houston, still other domestic flights could be often times less than $70-80 one way). Recommended only if you are light traveler. Be @ airport 2 hours before the flight leave because they will not put you on next flight and you will end up paying for the second flight.
