Packers vs Lions
Steelers vs ravens
Titans vs Colts
Buccaneers vs Panthers
Cardinals vs Eagles
Rams vs 49ers
Bengals vs Chargers
But still 2 most awaiting games r
Broncos vs Chiefs
and
Saints vs Seahawks

My money is in Broncos and Saints

Manning vs Brees superbowl...one more time

Finally saints were badly beaten by seahawks yesterday! oh boy 34-7? man!!!
That 7 points were actually from seahawks pentalties otherwise it would have been 34-0. 11-1 seahawks.I have never seen Brees so helpless.

Week 14 is updated...make yr picks guys Sajhamitra, what a performance by Seahawks !!! They have secured NFC top seed which means road to superbowl goes through Seattle now and they have not lost home game for more than a year. Good luck to other NFC playoffs teams. Broncos look to be securing top seed on AFC. What do u say over the Wilson for MVP chants? I still like Manning over Wilson for MVP. Which games u guys looking ahead for this week? I am waiting for Panthers vs Saints.I hope Boys will beat Bears. enjoy the day guys !!!!

Guys, Regular season is over and playoff picture is clear now. Panthers Winning the NFC South, Bengals dominance over Ravens and Steelers,Jets 8-8 record without any big name players, Chiefs rise with Andy Reid were few to mention....Every NFL regular season has surprises within and it unfolds as we saw this season.....Broncos and Seahawks dominance, Patriots cruising without big names receivers, Saints resurrection with HC comingback, Eagles offence, fading 49ers, Houston, Giants meltdowns and list can go on and on..... Our pickem lost some regular players and regular commentators through the midway to the season. My inability to quick updates and bringing the discussion topics are main reasons for loosing u guys. Pls accept my apology here....... We have a tie for the first place here....and I want to leave this to u guys whether we want to play pickem through playoffs and try to find our single winner or conclude this pickem here and move on.......I want feedback from u guys......And most exciting part of the football season is right here...I hope we can keep our discussion alive....Eager to listen from u guys..... and I hope San dai can fix this formatting problem in sajha....its hard to write longer posts these days.......

Playoffs will be interesting with a bunch of new teams. Niners/Packs and Eagles/Saints game will be awesome next week. As far as the pickem goes, I am ok with continuing with the play offs or call it for the season. Congrats to Hetauda and everyone who participated.

I think the point system should be changed so that it becomes more challenging, and interesting.

For example, lets say, there is a game in week 5 between Patriots (lets assume 5-0) and Jaguars (1-4 lets assume).

Looking at the record, we know that Patriots are stronger, and probability of them wining is almost 99%. So everybody without any thought will select patriots for that week, and will get three points if patriots win.

But, it will not be fair if someone uses his brain, and thinks that although Jaguars are not as good as patriots, but for some certain reasons, they might win, and he selects Jaguars. If jaguars win he gets 3 points. I think, in this case, he should get more points, lets say he gets four points.

It should be like this,

If patriots win, you get 3 points.

If Jaguars win, you get 4 points.

And also, there are fewer teams in playoffs. And the points for each win for playoff games should be at least 6. So if your selected team wins in wildcard or divisional playoff, you get 6 points not 3. Similarly, in conference, may be you get 9 points, and in Superbowl, you get 12 points if your selected team wins.

I think this is more scientific, but you don't have to agree with me.

This year season is over, but it will be a good idea for next season.

@Solu123, it may be complex thing. rather than 3 vs 4 as you are talking, why not go with betting line. So, if pats are fav by 7 points, you get pats only if they cover that. may be one interesting approach, but as college football admin, I want to stick with the current format..

First of all, I would like to thank all the participants of this years pickem contest. Thanks a bunch to who took time to express their opinion in this thread. Congratulations to our winners. +hetauda[ 525 Points] +jacksparrow[ 525 Points] +saab9-5[ 504 Points] Hetauda and Jacksparrow have a a tie for first place and saab9-5 is in second place. Congratulations to u guys. Our San dai wants to send T-Shirts to 1st and 2nd place winners so please, I want u guys to send me yr address and t-shirt sizes in sajha email so that I can forward that to San dai. Jacksparrow, I have a special request for u. San dai regrets for not being able to send T-shirts to ist place, 2nd place and Admin from last year NFL pickem. Can u please get those infos winners and pass that info to me. I would like to send all the infos together to San dai. Solu bro, I had a chance to run this NFL pickem in 2010 too. I had my own few opinions regarding to programming and scoring format of this game. I got to run this contest again this year and we r exactly doing the same thing as we did back in 2010.
