Microsoft Surface Pro or Nexus 10 or other
Hey guys
I am planning to buy a tablet/ultra book so I was wondering if you guys can give some input on good tablet/ultra book to look for. I am thinking about either Surface Pro or Nexus or some sort but if you guys have used them of have any other good sugestion it would be greately appreciated.
Thx
Get Galaxy Note 10.1 .
Nexus 10 only has latest software. samsung put awesome features on Note 10.1.
Surface pro is nice option but i dont like windows 8 metro view.
thx fb for the suggestion. Have you personally used Note10.1? I am more of a windows fan so is there any good tablet/ultra book for windwos except for Surface?
You are comparing apple to orange. If you wanna full blown window tablet with all the features of window8 then go for Surface pro. Its cost you more than double of Nexus 10. But you want tablet with those millions of apps then go for Nexus10.
surface pro---full os
nexus---essentially a browser
get pro if you are a professional or nexus will be good enough for you.
Based on your budget. I am used to use- surface pro and ipad gen 3. If are using study and official work purpose, then surface pro is best option coz you are working same office and window platform. For browsing you can buy any tablets which support internet browsing. It doesn't matter. I won't recommend to spend substantial amount of money for tablets for browsing purpose only unless you have free money. In my personal experience I will recommend surface pro or Samsung galaxy 10.1 than Ipad or any other tablets.

I hate myself for buying tablets upon tablets. Good job,all those marketing scums.
I use tablet only for ebook reading, occasional browsing, and some fun/game apps.
The only thing I don't like about these extremely portable devices are that they're not yet productive, mere luxury with bundled features for basic computing. I already stopped looking around. Surface Pro sounds convincing but with that small screen I am pretty much sure I can't get productive at all, you would know what I meant if you are into graphic design and video production. It needs bigger badder screen.
For quick flips, random emails, web, gaming,ebooks... tablets are fun. More serious work, you inadvertantly get your bums in front of mighty old desktop. Thats the fact.
get a laptop for crying out loud, nothing beats laptop.
