Hi guys,
I take care of myself, but cant go out without using the underarm deodorant such as degree,axe as you might know. I normally sweat a lot and without it, my underarm will smell. I am fine once I apply it, but recently thought of more natural product alternatives, as the ones I was using contained some aluminium compounds, which could cause cancers in the long run. Antiperspirants blocks sweat glands, which is against body's natural mechanism of sweating. I tried some other natural products such as Toms of Maine, and it doesnt quiet supress smell as the antiperspirant products by AXE. If you guys know of any better prodcuts, please let me know.
Thanks,
1)maintain hygiene ie shower regularly.
2)Shower with warm water, dry with towel then dab fresh lemon juice into towel and apply into the area. If you have armpit hair best to shave it.
3)Lemon should work best but you can also try apple cider vinegar. 50/50 with water and apply using towel.
Let me know if this works. :)
I wanted to ask about this too but was too ashamed before. The problem is my crotch area give out very strong odor. Even I can smell it while sitting at work. I am not sure if others smell it but I am sure they do. I don't really mind the smell but I don't know how others take it. They haven't said anything but if I could I would like to get rid of the smell. Last time I went to a friends house with a dog and the dog could not take it's nose away from my crotch area. I was afraid it was gonna bite, it had to be leased otherwise it was ready to smell my crotch the whole time.
Thanks freedom and bokaman for your respone. Freedom, offcourse I shower two times daily, before and after work. I have become so dependent on this crap that, I just thought of more natural alternative. Long term use where those deodorants rubbed against your underam could have negative side effects. I dont know if lemon will do it, Its acidic and could irritate the skin. Apple cider vinegar??..Not sure how that will work,but I might give a try with lemon.
I have come across people in public places with horrible smell. I dont want to smell like them. I have been using underarm products, and its been helping me, but then it has harmful chemicals, and imagine using them for many years and get other health problems.
Bokaman,
Your syndrome is called HBD(High bokaishorder Disorder)
Yes those chemical based stuff are not permanent solutions.
Lemon should work. ACV should work also. It is better to give these natural remedies a try first and once you exhaust these then you can look to others. ACV is magical. Google and learn more about it. It is a cure for many things.

One word, "BOTOX"; works like a charm. Major insurance do cover. Ask your doc to write presc. for you. Hidden secrets myann that only few knows about.
Good luck and NP for your thanks.
Sathi, Use "Fitkiri" (this is what we used to call in Nepal). Here, it is called Alum. You can find it in any Indian grocery store in the soap/sampoo section. Most herbal stores also have it. I used to use a bunch of deodorants earlier. Now, there's no need for me to. Being totally natural, I do not think it will cause any side-effects also. I know back home people use it as an after-shave also.
@bokaman.. lmao..
But as far as I know, Alum is also a chemical compound (
KAl(
SO4)
2·12
H2O), though it may have less side effect.
My suggestion is if convenient, shave it from time to time and use alum after shaving.
Bokaman you remind me of my former roommates. They used to take a shower and change their underwear once a month. They used to smell thassa when they were around. The underwear would look like gundruk. God give them some hygiene sense..
If you are one of these Nepalis you need to wake up. This is not nepal where water is scarce. Most of the time it does not cost money to shower. At least do it for others if not for yourself.
Bokaman; Last week I watched the movie " cheaper by dozen”, the children did not like the boyfriend of their elder sister. They soaked his underwear on ground meat and dried it. Then their dog did the job.
You were lucky that dog did not do his full job.
@Bockaman, that's realy funny man
. i could not stop laughing.
