One road will lead to safety and the other road will lead to death. Now there are 2 guards

is which. But he gets to ask one question to find the door to safety.

Another one...

A man is set to be executed. His last statement defines his means of death. If he tells the truth, he will be hanged; if he tells a lie, he will be drowned. What can he say that will make it, by their own rules, impossible to kill him?

Just click on the answer.

Would be even more fun if you guys tweak the actual puzzle a bit so googling would be harder.

Well done kiddo!. Answers are correct!

It is center of the woods because after that one would be running out from the woods, not into the woods.

Here you go bshal,

 2(100x+y) = 100 y + x - 5
where x = dollar amount in check
y = cent amount

therefore,
y = (199x-5)/ 98

Now find x in such a way that y results no decimal value.

@bshal, the answer is Tilly. The names are based on do, re,mi, fa, so, la, ti. do

Here are some more....

1)A boy told another boy, "I am going to write your exact weight on this piece of paper but you will
have to give me 100 bucks. IF i cannot then, i will give you 100 bucks. The other boy accepted the
bet since there was no weighing scale there. But the other boy still lost the bet. How come?.

2)A man was boasting how long he could hold his breath underwater. He did it and he held it for 5 minutes.
A little boy came and told him that was nothing and that he could stay under water for 10 minutes. The man
challenged the boy but the little boy won the bet. How come?.

3)Two sisters were reading late into the night. They always did that as reading was their hobby. But it was
time to sleep so one sister said to the other. Goodnight sister and she switched off the light. The other sister
continued reading. How could she see without the light?

A man who wants to kill you follows you everywhere you go with a gun and he starts firing and the bullet enters through your temple. But the others soon overpower him and he is handed over to the police. Luckily you are not injured, not even a scratch. You are lucky even though the man got you right on the temple. How come?

There was a beautiful princess named Anna. Anna's father, the King, wanted to be sure his daughter married an intelligent man. To test his daughter's suitors the King hid Anna's picture in one of three boxes. The suitor had to be able to select the box with Anna's picture on one try and within twenty seconds. On the gold box was the message "Anna's picture is in this box". The silver box had the message "Anna's picture is not in this box." "Anna's picture is not in the gold box" was written on the bronze box. The King would tell each suitor "Only one of the three messages is correct." Which box contained Anna's picture?

silver
 theory of elimination

only one is true and lets assume message in the bronze box is true = pic not in gold box.
rest is false meaning:
gold:  pic in gold box = false (satisfied)
silver: pic is not in this box = false (satisfied)

it satisfies all the cndition.
Therefore pic is in silver box.

If we apply same logis to rest, it contradicts.

That is correct bro!.

A man who wants to kill you follows you everywhere you go with a gun and he starts firing and the bullet enters through your temple. But the others soon overpower him and he is handed over to the police. Luckily you are not injured, not even a scratch. You are lucky even though the man got you right in the temple. How come?

I guess this riddle makes more sense to white people as saying temple, they would immediately think of the sides of the head. This man was going to temple to worship and so was never hit by the bullet at all. :)
