Go to ur next door neighbors house as a survayor. ask them couple of question including their phone numbers. Lure them with interesting prizes or just tell them it's ur school assignment. Go back to your apartment and see for the strongest wifi signal. open it and try them phone numbers you got as a password. enojy your free Internet!!

 thanx 28th, I think my idea might have better shout than yours. I have already told them that I am a IT guy. hopefully the landlord let me see his internet box one day

 EAP password hacking is only easy, WPAs are difficult and require dictioary file that's like several GB in size and takes many days.
