Got traffic ticket in Alexandria VA
I got a speeding ticket 48/35 over the speed limit in Alexandria VA. I just moved to VA from Albany NY. I possess NY license not VA. What should I do? What are my options, please suggest.
You can show up in court & ask the judge for reduced penalty on fine, points or both. I am not sure if Alaxandria let's you contest a ticket, which simply means you pay reduced fine on court date, and no points are given to you. You can also get a law firm to handle your case. Talk to couple of law firms before picking one. They have different approaches. The law firm fee should be 200-300 usd, anything more may not be a good deal.

Out of topic question ;)
48/35 over limit ?
You driving or flying car?
Just pay it. Since you have NY license you won't get any points.
Most people in Sajha look things out of box.
Thank you guys. After reviewing all the comments, I have decided to pay the fine.
