what do you want to photograph  thin beast? Different kind of photography needs different kind of lens. Share what you want to take pictures of mostly, then people will be ab;e to answer you mroe precisely.

just looking at your post, I see you have a 18-55mm lens. If you just want to own another lens, I suggest any 55-200(300) mm will complement your current lens. This is just my general suggestion. Thanks.

Basically  it is for pesonal interest. Personal interest in like taking good pictures of things around you like person, tress, wildlife or taking tiny insects .I just want to have an alternate lens to my previous lens. I checked the above 2 lenses that i mentioned but i was confused which one should i go for!!

The lens you mentioned above are telephoto lens. Since you are looking to take pictures of insects then you should go with macro with less F stops..like 50mm 2.0,1.8 and so forth

For bird, wildlife---->Telephoto (70-300mm) or more. The higher the number, the more zoom you have so you can shoot birds on the trees, flying.
Insects --->Macro (1:1 ratio). Real 1:1 ratio magnification macro lens are expensive. Beware of fake macro, they claim it but is not technically true. If you find an old used one, the price might be reasonable. If you really want cheap way but with great magnification, then do the reverse lens macro. Do a google "reverse lens macro".
