want to install windows 7 on a windows 8 ultrabook..please help!

Hey Friends,

So we bought a sony vaio ultrabook which comes with windows 8 and now we dont like it..its like a phone OS on the desktop. Well if it was me I would have considered it but its my older brother who has been using other versions for year and this one seems very different to him. So do you know how we can install windows 7 on this machine? The sony customer service says we gotta buy and that would cost a lot I guess..any suggestions?

btw you can do your hdd partition without formating your pc by using third party softwares like partition magic, there are lots of free partition tools

well i have dual boot 8 and 7 - i lop win 8 :) , just get used to with it you will lop it :)

thanks for the options mulmiz..i talked about the dual boot idea to my big bro and didn't seem to be convinced..then i told him he can only buy or download windows 7 and format the book...i guess he's just gonna keep windows 8 since he seems to enjoy it now...he'll get used to it..hopefully!

do you know how you add shortcuts on the desktop for the programs that you use often?

IF YOUR BROTHER INSTALL START MENU ON WINDOWS 8, THAT WILL BE MUCH EASIER FOR HIM
