i wouldn't just focus on words as u  get questions about algebra, car parts like lower body frame, battery charge, chemistry and figuring out how to put together scattered objects. the exam itself isn't very difficult but u do have a time limit and don't forget to take the taps test at meps, its a personality test for new recruits. Make sure all your paper work is complete before you go to meps. than u take physical and send ur information to DoD for opi which is on hold for nepalese language. all  u need is above 50 on test. know that nepalese language is capped . GOOD LUCK

capped meaning 60 seats out of 1000 available for linguist, hold meaning the DOD isn't processing any right now but it will soon.  see u in basic training dosth..

 #rraj,
Which state are u in ? i have a group of frens and we all did took those AFQT test, the question are slightly different in some states. and we all group of fren has completed those test since we all shared the question. Most of the bigs city had different question than small cities. finally all of my frens has passed the AFQT test,
Basically they ask word knowledge, paragraph comperhension, math knowledge and arithemetic reasoning in AFQT, and after that you will have to take ASVAB test which contain those four section of AFQT plus three more section which is general science, shop and tool informaiton, and electric information.

if you clarify where you have reached, that would me more clear to help you out.

idk why everyone over here is so worried about the test...its too easy...just simple maths 'n logic
'n u dont need to know those words... just make a best guess
one thing u should know is no matter how high your asvab or afqt or gt score is they not gonna offer you a good job unless u been in states for a very long time and your recuirter cud get you a security clearance..
right now most of the MOSes are way overstrength
the key now shud be to expedite your paperwork so that you could be ahead of others

@my_man, do u have the questions from automobile, machanics and tools parts ?? i think these parts would have difficult questions than english and maths.. it would be awesome if u can share those questions too.

For you to get good score on the vocabulary section of the asvab test, go through this website::
www.english-test.net/asvab/vocabulary/meanings/012/asvab-test.php

Could not copy and paste the url directly over here, so had to write it...

Do you guys know anyone who has recently taken his afqt test in maryland? I am planing to take it the second time and I don't want to go there and fail again. Please help with any words that you remember from the words meaning. I realized the words knowledge and paragraph question carries the highest number of points. Thanks guys

think hard before signing the contract!... females dont do it!
boys - unless u get a good job dont jump in
if you have decided to join do not take MOS's 91B, 92G, 11B... hardest jobs in the army
dont believe a word your recuiter says..they get bonus for signing u in...so do your own research

 Hi
I have a question regarding Mavni program. I am also trying to enroll in Mavni program. I went to recruiter and submitted my documents and he told me that he will send it to designated office (USCIS or DHS) and after getting approval, i would be able to take ASVAB test. He also told me that it takes 1-2 weeks to get approval. But my frn who already went to army told me that she gave ASVAB test before getting approval from USCIS.
My question: is it too late to apply through language in MAVNI program?
if anyone has already done, did you guys gave ASVAB test while waiting for the approval from DHS or USCIS?

thanks
