We've been asked to appear for interview at the Canadian Consulate in Atlanta, GA for interview for the QSW based Canadian PR in December. When filling out the PR application i think the lawyers put our French skill level at 2 or 3 out of 5. We had taken an introductory French language class but nothing after that so won't be able to communicate in French and this is the biggest hurdle that i see right now. Anyways wanted to check with some folks out there who has gone through similar process. If anyone of you have appeared for such interview what was your experience like and any suggestions you can offer us. Thanks for sharing in advance.

Sorry for my unrelated comment but why do you guys always have to lie? If you didnt know, just say "I dont do". I just feel weird seeing all Nepalese folks lieing this way or that way just to stay here.
I wish you guys all the best!!

Did you already give French test and IELTS?
I know that these tests are mandatory for Quebec.

These two tests are mandatory since 2010 december for Quebec. Can anyone plz share how hard is it to study new language: French and how long it takes and how much you got in the test. I heard that if you get good points in the French test, you might not be called for the interview.

Shyam Kumarji when we applied in July last year they didn't ask us to take any kind of French test but they did ask us to start learning French as it'll be very helpful.

Karmayogiji DBA should be just fine i believe. It will cost us 6000 USD if we get the PR (application fees and Attorney fees).
