Basantaji and all others:

There are some variations in wordings of Dashain Aasheesh. However, the concept is the same. I got this from my parents:

Dhronacharya ko jasto aayu: Dronacharya would never be killed by anyone. He was undefeated and immortal until he killed himself. It was the trick of Bhimsen and others who conveyed the message of his son (Aswattham)'s death to him and he killed himself by samadhi.

Dasharath ko jasto shree: Dasharath was famous among deutas. He fought with and killed many enemies of deuta. On top of that, he had four parakrami sons which was also considered a great wealth in that age.

Ramko jasto shatru kshya: Ram killed Ravan with that much tacits with coalition with primates.

Nahush Rajako jasto Aishworya: Nahusch raja was very wealthy and famous for his generocity (unlike Kuwer who had wealth, kuwer is among the god and Nahush is among the human kind).

Pawan (Hawa) ko jasto gati: (No need to explain)

Duryodhanko jasto man (or you can say abhiman): Duryodhan was abhimani; he destroyed his rebel Pandawas, he forced all the kings and warriors to align with or against him, he could convice his gurus and all other followers whether he was good or bad.

Bhismacharya ko jasto parakram: You all know Bhisma, once he promised, he fullfilled. On top of that, he was the only leader in Kaurav sena pati who leaded the war for 10 days alone and killed many pandav army. Technically he defeated pandav's. It was his own generosity that he gave the clue to Pandava how he could be hunted down. (You know shikhandi?)

Balaram ko jasto bal: When Balaram returned from Tirthatan, the war of hastinapur was over. He became so angry that it was his brother Krishna who played key role in that much massachre. He put his Halo under Hastinapur and pulled it from side to sink it in Jamuna river. Whole hastinapur was tilted. He was that much balwan.

Yudhishthir ko jasto satya: We all know he never told a lie.

Bidurko jasto budhhi, gyan: In some places he has played a role of mediator. He was a learned man. He was considered the most intelligent man of that age.

Naryanko jasto kirti: Ghar gharma narayan ko puja hunchha, satyanarayanko puja hunchha. There is a separate story about the tussle between Bhrahma and Bishnu. Bishnu won that. Since then, Bhrahama ko puja hundaina, naryanko matrai hunchha.

Aswatthama (Dronacharya ko chhora) ko jasto aayu: Aswatthama is one of the Asta-Chiranjibis in our myths. When his father Dronacharya was forced to take Samadhi by deception, he took revenge of the Pandava's killing all the five sons of Draupadi. Actually he didn't mean to kill them but five Pandavas. Later when he realized he killed innocent kids, he went to jungle to spend rest of his life in hideouts. Nobody knows where he is, but he is supposed to be alive till now. This part is equal to say "Chiranjibi Bhayes".

Dasharath ko jasto shree: Dasharath was famous among deutas. He fought with and killed many enemies of deuta. On top of that, he had four parakrami sons which was also considered a great wealth in that age.
